    So, basically, not a meaningful amount of water at all. Credit to the story authors for taking the time to frame what 13MM gallons actually works out to.

      Did you stop reading the article at the first data center? "More improper redaction shows that the data center using the most water annually is Fireball Group LLC, the Google Data Center in Papillion. Fireball LLC reports _547.88 megagallons_ for their 2025 Annual Water Consumption." (emphasis mine)

        That's still not a meaningful amount of water! Did you work out what that equates to? We discussed it elsewhere on the thread.

          A typical house uses 100,000 gallons a year. So that's 5000 homes.
