I guess the only permanent fix for stress in modern days is having enough money so one wouldn’t have to worry about it. As a single person I cannot think of any scenario where money cannot relieve my stress

So we need to consider, what are we paying for that doesn’t translate efficiently to labor? What are we paying for that is merely the externalitization of costs? Of legislative capture so that otherwise communal resources can be monetised? Rent extraction from community created commons?
There are reasons that modern humans spend much more of their time struggling to make ends meet than primitive humans, and a reason why people live much more comfortably with less struggle and a better life balance in some countries versus others. Money is incredibly useful, but it also serves to hide unjust and inequitable mechanisms that create perverse incentives that create a situation where every shred of excess value that a person sheds becomes mandatory just to keep your head above water, creating a condition of eternal struggle up to the absolute limit of endurance if you allow yourself to follow the dots on the floor.
Obviously looking up and looking around, subverting the dominant paradigm, and eschewing “what you are supposed to do(c) “ can work, with risks, but perhaps it’s time to question whether the unrestricted amassing of resources by a few at the expense of everyone else is the right answer to the situations we are confronting?
Idk, crazy talk, right?

you'd probably get sick on vacation and make your situation worse by obsessing over how you wish you weren't sick, in exactly the same way that you now obsess over how you wish you had more money than you do.

No need to stress about money either, as long as you have enough to cover your basic needs, and live in a country with universal healthcare.
