    Or they could use EVs. Require cars to have V2X (Vehicle to Grid, Vehicle to Load) feature. EV batteries are humongous.

        I think they mean to use EV batteries would require the EV to be designed for V2G capability, which is currently rare

          Yes, thanks for the clarification. It goes without saying nobody can take energy from anyone without their permission. The manufacturers should build all cars with V2G feature, then people have the choice to participate in the energy ecosystem.
