I think a more important question is whether Yemen still exists as as single coherent political entity with the same borders as seen on ANY of those maps, which given the present situation, it clearly does not.

> documents three incidents that saw ordinary people subjected to abuses, including drone strikes, torture, and arbitrary detention. In a fourth case, a fishing boat and most of its crew went missing amid signs of another attack.
That is unfortunate.
Are you going to bother to mention the millions who have been affected by imported drugs?
Is there any evidence they are not just blowing up random people?
Edit: i have zero faith that the us government is can, let alone is willing to, control the drug trade. This seems to be an excuse to exercise violent control of the americas as an end unto itself. This is in line with our intervention in venezuela, our bullying cuba, our constant abuse of the phrase "monroe doctrine".
You, knowing absolutely nothing about the inner workings of the counter-narcotics operations, assert that there is no evidence that those people are drug runners, based only on ignorance of the facts, yet you are also apparently perfectly content to not provide any evidence to the contrary (that they are indeed systematically killing "random people"), despite the fact that such a claim is completely absurd, and you don't see any contradiction?
> knowing absolutely nothing about the inner workings of the counter-narcotics operations, assert that there is no evidence that those people are drug runners
Well, he's correct that there is no evidence known to him, so there IS no evidence known to him.
To my knowledge, the administration has not released any evidence, only claims: "We know they are drug smugglers and we have evidence that we will not show you."
So there are drug smugglers, but the US isn't targeting them, they're targeting random boats, and the US is doing this for some reason which is apparently clear to OP but hasn't been made clear to us, and that somehow is the simplest explanation for what's going on, despite being entirely absurd?
If you want to live somewhere suspected drug dealers get summary execution in the streets and death sentences, move to the Philippines or China. Don't try to bring that nonsense here.
If you want to live somewhere South Sudanese get about in shopping centres with machetes, car jacking, and stabbing people on the streets…
Maybe don’t come to Australia.
Sooner or later, the West needs to wake up and realise that empathy for the offenders over empathy for the victims, hasn’t worked.
And that includes meth and heroin dealers.
Marijuana, meh, stupid drug anyway. But I know too many people who used weed long term and now have chronic psychosis, so yeah that ain’t great.
That's a problem with your local law enforcement failing to enforce the law. Crime has been dropping where I live almost every year I've been alive, and that's all about opportunity and jobs rather than jackbooted thugs delivering vigilante justice.
Inexplicably, people do tend to vote here. I do, however, condemn the state of the united states of america—the map of the world would certainly be much improved without that name on it.
"The protection to which civilian hospitals are entitled shall not cease unless they are used to commit, outside their humanitarian duties, acts harmful to the enemy." - Fourth Geneva Convention, Article 19(1)
There is literally no evidence at all the hospitals in Gaza are used for military purpose other than Israel's claims (and their botched attempt to fabricate evidence by placing guns in MRI machine of all place).
US and Israel also bombed hospital in Iran even though it's obviously clear that Iran doesn't fire ballistic missiles and drones from it.
Show me a picture of a single major Hamas military base that is not embedded in or under civilian infrastructure, just one, and I'll answer your question. Not a training camp, not an outpost, a major military base.
There isn't a picture of it because it doesn't exist? They have bunkers deep underground and that's it? Israel bombed civilian infrastructure because they want to kill civilians, the bunkers underground are just fine. Or else why would you think Hamas still exist today even though basically all of Gaza's building is obliterated?
Meanwhile Israel claim every hospital in Gaza is a Hamas base without any proof, not a single photo at all. Burden of proof is on the accuser, if you support Israel's claim, you should be the one providing evidence.
Note that Israelis already admitted they intentionally targeted civilians, <a href="https://www.lemkininstitute.com/single-post/israeli-soldiers-admit-killing-palestinians-in-gaza-no-matter-the-age-even-if-unarmed" rel="nofollow">https://www.lemkininstitute.com/single-post/israeli-soldiers...
> The first major case to break headlines in western media was the murder of two Christian women at Gaza City’s Holy Family Church on 16 December 2023. A Palestinian Catholic mother and her daughter were killed by an Israeli sniper while seeking refuge inside the church compound, resulting in condemnation from the pope.
> In January 2024, British broadcaster ITV captured the moment when 51-year-old Ramzi Abu Sahloul was shot through the chest, only moments after he had spoken on air. Sahloul was part of a group of civilians who were fleeing to Rafah in Gaza’s south while holding white flags on the orders of the Israeli military.
And that's not even mentioning their pogrom in the West Bank right now, <a href="https://www.haaretz.com/west-bank/2026-10-01/ty-article/.premium/israeli-settlers-shoot-and-kill-palestinian-wound-others-in-west-bank-village/000001a0-f767-de52-afe1-f7e7fcd00000" rel="nofollow">https://www.haaretz.com/west-bank/2026-10-01/ty-article/.pre...
> The village's municipal council head reportedly said that the settlers attacked residents' homes under the protection of Israeli forces. The IDF also reportedly blocked an ambulance in the village, seized its key and threw it away
"The strategic logic of human shields has two components. It is based on an awareness of Israel's desire to minimise collateral damage, and of Western public opinion's sensitivity towards civilian casualties. If the IDF uses lethal force and causes an increase in civilian casualties, Hamas can utilise that as a lawfare tool: it can accuse Israel of committing war crimes, which could result in the imposition of a wide array of sanctions.
Alternatively, if the IDF limits its use of military force in Gaza to avoid collateral damage, Hamas will be less susceptible to Israeli attacks, and thereby able to protect its assets while continuing to fight."
What you linked is literally a bunch of self-claims by Israel like I said. "Oh there is a bunch of civilians on the roof, let's just circle two of them and call them Hamas".
Provide real evidence that's not just "IDF said so". Though you probably can't, because if you can, you wouldn't give a random pdf from a NATO propaganda think tank instead of a real source.
Meanwhile Israel's use of using Palestinians as human shields are well-documented by Israeli organizations:
You are not arguing in good faith, instead you are arguing in an adversarial manner. You're not engaging with my points at all, instead you are relying on fallacious logic. I'm sorry that your upbringing has robbed you of a critical mind. Good luck.
