    I'm a bit confused by their use of "digitized" - isn't the stuff on a CD-ROM already digitized?

      I think the context makes it clear. But, equally, you can argue that the CD format was physically locking the files to that binder, but now the data is digitised it is more easily accessed and shared.

          It's incredibly obvious they meant "to put it online", even if the content was already digital on the CDs. This kind of pedanticism is extremely tiring and antisocial. Grow up.

            Why don't you just assume good faith when someone says they don't understand. There was no need for this.
