I'm tempted to try the free version as I'm curious what it is about.

Is this just a productivity thing?

Out of the top of my head I can't think of a lot of use cases but maybe RSS? Maybe I could ask it to give me a summary of cool tech news for each morning, and on very specific topics too?

Not sure what else I'd use it for.

All it wants to do is buy stuff, book stuff, reserve stuff, do anything that indicates willingness to spend money. That’s what will get companies to sign on with Meta’s AI, so that’s what it will do.

Agents talking to Agents talking to Agents, spending our money. That’s the future Meta wants.

I guess he was taking about their business partners, not the users.

I see. It's annoying all the hype around these products. I feel like it's the same as "Gettings Things Done" all over again.

Counterpoint: I have had my own Muse like harness with Hermes and Matrix for over a year and all I want to do with it is seamlessly long-in and purchase stuff without worrying about secure credential injection or payment confirmation.

Credentials and payments for agents and local proxy browsing is a non-trivial problem.

And I promise you my Hermes agent is not sitting here trying to get me to buy things.
