The problem I see here is treating China as one people. It is a huge country with diverse population and many ethnic groups. They are not homogeneous even if I think Beijing would like to make it this way.
Also, saying that Chinese are this and that are the same as saying all Poles are drinking vodka and steal car in Germany stereotypes.
