Chinese drama steals a lot from korean and japanese. I see them wearing got/god (from Kpop demon hunters) claiming it's part of Chinese culture. I've even seen ones where kimono is Chinese. I thought he was going to say it's junk food cuz we lost all history after Mao Zedong, and stole ideas from other countries.
Now you see Han-fu in chinese dramas.
Hanfu is made up shit, I tell ya, I never seen that shit until 15 years ago.
I had my g/f wear that in China, and chinese shooshed her cuz they thought it was either korean or japanese.
Saving "face" is just funny, because if you make someone lose face, they will sometimes even kill you (check out chines emedia for that)
