      When your allies are divided, weak and incapable to stand for themselves, this is what you get. The collapse of Europe and its old elites is going on, small happy islands will survive from it.

         Considering how everything is now connected, every economy, etc. I seriously doubt any remaining island will be “happy”. Anyone on this island will know friends, family outside the island.
