I think governments should work on making their citizens more dateable.
Schools should try to teach kids better social skills as well as how to cultivate a healthy romantic relationship. You might say society and culture should be the ones doing this, and you’d be right, but they’ve failed at that.
Kids need to know how to make introductions (not just introduce themselves but introduce other people), how to show someone you’re interested in them, how to engage in small talk with a stranger and escalate it to deeper and more meaningful conversation, and even when and how to kiss someone. There used to be schools for elites to teach some of these things. It’s time to bring them back but for everyone.
