      Lambdas in D are just nested functions:

          int foo(int i) {
              int add(int x) { return i + x; } // nested function
              return add(3);
          }
      
          int bar(int i {
              alias lambda = (x) => x + i;  // lambda
              return lambda(3);
          }
          }
