    Unfortunately apple devices collect EXTREME amounts of telemetry, you are opted-in by default, and much of it is impossible to opt-out of.

      Amounts of telemetry is pretty vague though. The type and sensitivity of the data is what matters. They can collect gigabytes of crash reports or performance metrics for all I care because that’s not my personal data.

        Crash reports contain a lot of personal data. It's not just a bunch of memory addresses. It's also the environment, what you were doing, etc. Performance metrics are even worse. It's what you are doing when it's not crashing.
