    I currently work at a company using this data (only on company-owned vehicle for fleet monitoring purpose) and I can confirm that this is some scary shit. Many brand collect your GPS position every 10 to 30 seconds, they know where you shop, how fast you drive, how often you go out for a drink or to the gym.

    And IMHO this kind of ubiquitous data collection is even a national security threat, as an adversary can easily track your servicemen to find sensitive personal to either assassinate them on the eve of a conflict, or at least to collect Kompromat to be used to gain intelligence.
