Senior embedded firmware engineer, 30+ years in C and assembly on real-time systems. I run ATC Eutectics, and today I own the firmware for a line of precision lab instruments (FreeRTOS, drivers, closed-loop control, structured test) for my current consulting client.

My specialty is taking over firmware nobody else can maintain: legacy code, late programs, a departed engineer's code base. I'm useful within days. Looking for contract or consulting firmware work, and open to the right full-time role.
