    Hey, that's good news. I was hoping it would be the FBI, but the FTC will do.

    FTC is still mostly not compromised by industry sleeper agents. FBI is still independent also.

    CAISI NIST is very compromised by EA sleeper agents. very luckily they have no law enforcement role.

        At least it is not compromised by anthropic/openai/deepmind. It has that going for it.

        Perhaps it does not need saying but if you leave it to nonprofits overflowing with industry operatives and ai blood money, you get whatever openai or anthropic want you to hear (METR report).

          I wouldn’t be too surprised if some rationalist/EA folks aligned with the “AI will be a god” type of doomers have found their way into regulatory agencies
