   The most sensible thing the EU could do right now is make peace with Russia and stop this confrontation before it is too late. NATO has been deaf to Russia’s security concerns for decades, so maybe it is finally time to listen.

   And before the NATO zealots, warmongers and NATO wannabes come here crying that you cannot trust Russia and that war is the only way (provided, of course, that you are not the one fighting), let’s address that right away.

   You cannot trust Russia

   Russia has maintained good relationships with a lot of countries, but none of them are NATO members or NATO wannabes. And, as a reminder, it was NATO that broke promises about not expanding eastwards.

   You cannot deal with a country waging a war.

   Yes, you can. Just take a look at Israel or the USA. One is committing a genocide in real time, while the other has been waging wars of aggression for ages. European leaders have no problems dealing
