   I feel you... the situation is more or less the same for Greece (and many other countries). Things are not looking very good and I don't know how all this situation is going to stabilize or even better come back to normal.

      It seems from the outside that Greece never really recovered from being hit particularly hard by the 2008 financial/real estate crisis?

         It's true, but things are not as bad as 2015. Just not as good as 2007. In general things seem to be going in the right direction, cost of living excluded.
