    I&#x27;m Polish, but this is such a pessimistic, overdramatic take. The visualisations are impressive, but you&#x27;re living in Poland&#x27;s golden age.     The war in Ukraine is a tragedy, but it has proved that Russia is weak. The price shock will speed up the transition to renewables, and Iran is losing its grip on Hormuz. So many of the other issues are solvable.

    It&#x27;s easy to be a pessimist, but there&#x27;s a bright future ahead of us.

      This is living in denial. Lots of Ukrainians didn&#x27;t believe there&#x27;s going to be war either. There are already Russian drones flying into Eastern European countries, while the US is lifting sanctions on Russia - you don&#x27;t have to be a fortune teller to predict where this is going.

        In 2016 I spoke with an Ukrainian in Germany. He was saying the war is in the easternmost regions, he&#x27;s safe because he&#x27;s from Kiev area. That&#x27;s how war works, uninformed civilian never believes it&#x27;s coming.
