I just finished Ra by qntm. It's available free on his website.

I'm guessing that many people here are familiar with this work already since HN was where I found out about qntm in the first place. If you haven't read Ra, though, I greatly enjoyed it and would strongly recommend it.

I just finished “There is no antimemetics devision”, qntm has my respect it was an incredible book.

I enjoyed the book, but I "read" it on Audible which was possibly not the ideal experience. It was kind of fun though, they had static crackling for all the redacted bits.

I've just started on There is no antimemetics division, and I'm underwhelmed. It risks not being read properly.

Have been on some good stuff recently: Whitt by Iain M. Banks was nice, lighter than a lot of his other stuff, and genuinely funny at times.

Best book this year was The Leopard by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa. Couldn't put it down.
