Ooof, it's definitely not just you. I definitely root for Mozilla to succeed and think they're critical in the grand scheme of the browser wars, but that video is rough. It's practically Cocomelon.
They're trying to regain mass market appeal because the only people using it now are diehard nerds, the video isn't for you
I thought it looked good, it feels polished, their mascot looks cool, and I like it when open source gives two shits about design.
