    My observation is that gen-z spends less time socializing in real life, and drinking remains a social habit for the most part at a younger age. While they drink less, cannabis, vaping and psychedelics are on the rise.

    It's a nice claim to say they are more responsible, but it tells an incomplete story.

      U.K. figures of amount drunk at aged 25 has fallen

      Born 1940s, about 14u/week. 1960s about 12u, By 1980s dropped to 10u, and by 2000 down to about 7-8.

        It does feel like young people are more likely to go to a coffee shop than a pub if they want to socialise.
