    My observation is that gen-z spends less time socializing in real life, and drinking remains a social habit for the most part at a younger age. While they drink less, cannabis, vaping and psychedelics are on the rise.

    It's a nice claim to say they are more responsible, but it tells an incomplete story.

      It’s the tech wet dream. Come back from work (where you are doing some manual labor the LLMs cannot automate yet), consume content while the rented rob car takes you to your apartment, get some weed and immerse yourself in your consumption device (phone, tv whatever).

      Effectively every non sleeping minute of your life monetized by tech.

        Doing a job that can't be automated sounds like the exact opposite of "monetized by tech" to me.

        And if "people be watching videos" was the wet dream of tech monetization, we wouldn't need to be worried about tech monetization.

          The number of these jobs is constantly shrinking, and a lot of jobs actually have people training AI models to replace them.
