        Ethnic cleansing, then. But this is exactly the sort of thing I'm talking about - very typical of Israel supporters: they debate you on the letter instead of acknowledging that what we see here is horrendous.

        Then they suggest that this is justified because Israel is a jewish ethnostate.

            Jews immigrating to Israel is not "ethnic cleansing". Now the Palestinian land they moved to was ethnically cleansed by the Zionists.

                    If Hamas supporters argue that what they did on Oct 07 is payback for "Naqba" (or whatever historical injustice dujour they fancy), then the question becomes: why can't Israel retaliate?
