Lisp is more diffucult to read for most devs because most devs are used to C/Java -like synthax.If most devs were used to Lisp, it would be the other way around.It's a chicken and egg problem, at this point.
I think part of it is that English speakers say: “2 plus 2” not “plus 2 2”, so the infix notation matches our natural language and mental model.
