The report by Quebecor media quoted two unnamed sources from Fréchette’s government who said American government officials had attempted to negotiate tariffs with Quebec directly.

This incident aside, doesn't Quebec already have special rights within the confederation to manage certain international relationships? E.g. quasi-diplomatic General Delegation in Paris, Francophone offices overseas, certain aspects of immigration to Quebec?

I wouldn't be surprised. That would be one of many failings of the Canadian constitution/government.

How about the crown of England is in charge of Canada's armed services? And new citizens have to swear allegiance to the King?

King Charles III is king of both countries. What a joke.

The King of the UK isn't even in charge of the UK's army, let alone Canada's. I guess when people can't find any actual grievances it's expected that they would start bringing up trivial and purely ceremonial matters that don't actually have an impact on anything. Vibes over all.

The big ones are: it has weasel words for every right that creates an out for the government to not respect that right, so surprise we are always in the weasel word situation. It creates atleast six classes of Canadian with special rights and peivileges, which is inherently racist and sexist. There should only be one canadian for the purposes of right and privileges. Itpretty clearly is written from theposition of the government being the source of righteousness when it should be written from the perspective of the government is cobtrolled by humans and humans are eh holes if you let them be, its why you need a constitution with strong rights and low attack surface, which we dont have.
