Which market? not the US nor Europe

How do you know this? I know Claude et al gets the most publicity, but I have genuinely no idea what is used the most in absolute numbers.

(I’m referring to Europe mostly, I can believe it’s nowhere near 64% in the US)

Wdym? If you have any LLM features in your app, how much you want to charge your customers? 100 euros per month? 1000? Or could you just offer them in the cheapest 10 euro package and don't care about cost that much?

There is no reason to pay API prices for Anthropic and OpenAI if they don't cut them down 100x at least.

I’m starting to get suspicious that they are doing what that other lab was doing and just forwarding their requests to Claude. It’s either that, or the Claudeslop has polluted their training data so badly that even the Chinese models can no longer write normally.

seems suspect, also not sure how random twitter post is proof...

regardless the more likely answer is that people aren't using gateways for the big lab models

    these are just openrouter stats.

they don't have 64% marketshare. they have 64% of openrouter usage, because people mostly don't use openrouter to access claude or chatGPT.

Title is misleading. Should say "64% market share on cloudflare's AI gateway"

Obviously that won't account for direct use of anthropic/OpenAI apis. Still impressive that DeepSeek-use doubled in that data though
