         I'm not sure that we can brush away toxic behavior of people and social media as a simple "imperfection".

         These can cause serious damage to the lives of ordinary people.

            Oh, I agree, but the GP overstated it, I think. It's hardly "the saddest part of humanity, nor would I agree that "No one has grown up."

            We SHOULD be less eager to jump to strong judgments.

            We ARE still going to make this mistake. Even some of the best of us, sometimes.

      It's worse, grown ass adults who taught me that this kind of reaction is wrong growing up are the same ones I see behaving this way now.
