    The more people leaving 'because AI' just makes me sad that there have been so few leaving 'because advertising'.

      Spot on. Or because of addictiveness. Or impact on democracy. Or ruining people's ability to focus on anything. Those attention grabbing algos havent been designed by non-technical people.

          Pick any subfield under the massive domain called “life sciences”.

          Or do it as a hobby. I love shooting guns, I certainly wouldn’t shoot people if that was the only way to make a career shooting guns.
