    It is quite irrelevant to examine political opinions or if the conference turned into a Jonestown cult etc.

    The only thing that matters in AI is to examine the flow of money. DHH is a Shopify board member and surely got Shopify stock.

    Additionally, his Omarchy is sponsored by the following AI boosters (<a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;omarchy.org&#x2F;patrons&#x2F;" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;omarchy.org&#x2F;patrons&#x2F;):

      - Meta Superintelligence Labs
      - DigitalOcean
      - Alibaba Cloud
      - Shopify (Tobi Lütke)
      - Stripe (Collison)
      - Dell (Dell)
      - Cloudflare (Prince)
      - Dropbox (Houston)
      - OpenClaw (Steinberger)
      - Coinbase (Armstrong)

    His Fridman promotion was sponsored by Shopify:

    <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;lexfridman.com&#x2F;sponsors&#x2F;ep501-sb" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;lexfridman.com&#x2F;sponsors&#x2F;ep501-sb

    His future is tied to the AI narrative and he sells out stuff he no longer needs like RoR. Anything he says is an advertisement.

      As can be seen from that list, DHH is now protected here like Steinberger. Never mention money and funding. Calling DHH a fascist is allowed and encouraged because it distracts from the end goals. But money, hell no!

        &gt;Calling DHH a fascist is allowed and encouraged because

        ...it&#x27;s true, based on his own words.

          Without knowing your reference, I guarantee he said something like &quot;If X is being a fascist, then I&#x27;m proud to be a fascist!&quot;

          Not because I keep up with DHH (at all), but just because yours is a recognizable genre of comment from people who lie on the internet.

            You would be incorrect.

            It&#x27;s also wild that you are attempting to correct me while also admitting you don&#x27;t &quot;keep up with DHH (at all).&quot; What was that thought process like? &quot;I don&#x27;t have any data with which to rebut this assertion, but it just FEELS false, so I&#x27;ll go with that!&quot;
