    Why isn’t building data centers in Greenland being talked about?

    - Unlimited geothermal energy.

    - Cold climate for heat dissipation

    - tons of land

      - Getting power there is a headache (unless Greenland allows microreactors, which is a political headache). Note: Iceland has geothermal, not really Greenland.

      - You still do need staff, it's not cheap building a mini city for 200 maintenance worker, much less the 5,000+ construction crew, and you'll have to pay premium to get people to actually do it

        You’re totally right. I thought it was Greenland with geothermal. But it’s Iceland. Thx!

        Follow-up question - then why not Iceland? It has geothermal, airports, less geopolitical tension, etc
