      Based on pretty much every electric car out there, yes. They have to change everything.

         They can keep the buttons and the normal interiors instead of making them look like something out of Star Trek.

      Engine is not the problem, but the battery and volume + weight it brings. Easily +200-400 kg to the weight of the car.
