I use an app called Wander to do this in my Oculus Quest. With some lo-fi music it really helps with anxiety.

It really is fun just picking some random spot on the map, some random neighborhood no tourist would ever think to visit, and poking around.

I actually had a hobby of posting "virtual vacation pictures" for a while. Not any attempt at a business or going viral or anything, just literally cool things I found and took pictures of. No one cared but I thought it was cool.

Here is one of buses in Nairobi <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;pixelfed.social&#x2F;p&#x2F;krapp&#x2F;809174497538634738" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;pixelfed.social&#x2F;p&#x2F;krapp&#x2F;809174497538634738

    And &quot;cat island&quot; Tajiroshima <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;pixelfed.social&#x2F;p&#x2F;krapp&#x2F;780990927466607564" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;pixelfed.social&#x2F;p&#x2F;krapp&#x2F;780990927466607564

Once when I pressed the random button I wound up at the LHC at CERN (<a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;www.youtube.com&#x2F;watch?v=LmBOew7U9rc" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;www.youtube.com&#x2F;watch?v=LmBOew7U9rc). That was a trip!

I just wish it could actually export 3D videos in 16:9 format.
