Not sure what Jetbrains can offer anymore. I haven't used their tools for 8months or so, looking to cancelling all products pack before next renewal. Rider was great for years, but last couple of years it's just become brutally slow. Now everything can be done in a terminal and an editor like gvim (or any editor really). Just get claude to open code in your editor when you need or even create visual code reviews, or any number of ways at looking at code with claude. All the refactoring tools jetbrains had are out the window, debugging with a debugger is largely dead, air seems super meh and not being able to leverage a plans allowances makes it a non starter. The one thing we will keep is youtrack, it works well with AI. But weirdly replaceable if they do something stupid with it / price gouge etc.
