Don’t use AI to write and don’t use it to edit either. LLMs can’t understand your writing, so the edits and questions about your work will be less helpful than asking another person with knowledge to review.
I don't know what this is supposed to mean. An LLM can certainly understand the structure of your writing. It can accurately diagram sentences, identify the grammatical agent, note transitions between sentences and paragraphs, determine the position of modifiers, evaluate topic continuity, spot hedges and qualifiers, count word and construction use and identify overuse, and evaluate openings and stress positions of sentences.
