    TL;DR: you walk around smelling and listening for issues. Most of the staff on site are doing the same thing; the rest are private security hired by customers housing within the DC. You make between $66K and $120K/annual.

    There, saved you from reading a story that isn't really informative and only was written because of the politics surrounding DCs are keeping them in the news.

      TBH it was informative for me because I've got family who applied for data center jobs. But I'll admit that you captured it all in your blurb. The article has a lot of fluff.
