The Internet Archive is a non-profit we can trace back to real people, while archive.today is owned by who-knows-who and they have engaged in DDoS attacks and tampering with archives. They have revealed themselves untrustworthy.
Regardless, they are not “as important” and you should exercise caution. In addition, they are not the only option, there is also <a href="https://unwall.app" rel="nofollow">https://unwall.app.
Unwall looks nice, and I hope they stick around. There’s been a number of these paywall bypass apps over the years, but only archive.is has survived over time.
