Haptic feedback on virtual keyboards is just fine if you ask me. I'm not sure why it needs mechanical keys, I don't really see how that adds anything of value on a phone these days.
I'm typing on my pixel 6 Pro and it still feels satisfying.
I dislike haptic feedback a lot, not least because of how noisy it is.
There's also something to be said about touch-typing. Even though it was slower due to T9, I miss the dumbphone days of being able to type an error-free message without ever having to look down at the keys.
Not sure about the key waterproofing of this phone, but not being able to type out in the rain is another thing that really makes me dislike touchscreen typing.
