      BS. Hume&#x27;s ideas of Mathematics and their usage in Science were laughable (they predated modern mathematics and physics). The mathematics used in a theory has tremendous predictive power and does not depend on &quot;miracles&quot;. So we know where it works and where it does not.

      No, that is not quite true. Einstein perfectly understood quantum physics&#x2F;mechanics but considered it incomplete and philosophically abhorrent.
