So I came across another thread on HN about Hive's launching its celebrity voice detection model. I left this comment there which i put through your tool "It would be great if someone can build a model wherein a family can feed voices of their most vulnerable members, and make sure nobody can call any of the family members and scam them. I know it gonna be tough but not impossible. At one point, the world will definitely need such a model/tool.

Here is my take:It scored the idea 52/100.

What I liked: Nell recognised the problem is real and growing, but did not treat that alone as proof of a fundable company. It pointed out that the technical, legal, and distribution questions are still unresolved.

Something that stood out: The most useful part was the recommendation to narrow the idea to one scam type, such as “grandparent scam” calls, choose one distribution channel, and interview 20 families before building.

Where it lacked: It raised a risk: Apple, Google, or telecom carriers could build this directly into call-screening. But i can also sell my solution to these companies. Tbh, if someone builds such a product, they would first like to sell it to telecom service providers.
