Senior/staff engineer, 20+ years, three-time Chief Architect. My rare intersection is PhD-level applied cryptography + production Rust + byte-level reverse engineering — the person you want reviewing crypto or security-sensitive code (human- or AI-written) for the subtle flaw that compiles, passes tests, and is quietly broken. Recent work: led a greenfield distributed platform in Rust (Zyte); threat/malware detection at millions of events/sec as Chief Architect (Trend Micro); a Rust→WebAssembly content-protection module; founding engineering on an early-stage L1 (BFT/PQ/ZK); and low-level firmware/RE consulting. Open source: capa-rs / smda-rs / dnfile-rs (Rust ports of the FLARE binary-analysis toolchain) and condition-control (embedded Rust). Looking for: senior/staff Rust, systems, security, applied cryptography, WebAssembly, or blockchain/protocol work. Full-time or contract. Happy to talk
