    Backend engineer with ~7 years in Go and Python. Most of my work is backend systems: APIs, payments, streaming, the plumbing that has to hold up. I have a soft spot for perf-centric development

    Most of what I&#x27;ve built recently is open source. The one with real users is decypharr, a media gateway that streams files over a FUSE layer, where I&#x27;ve done deep work on goroutine leaks, lock contention, and caching. I also build a handful of smaller Go tools, from a multi-protocol file server to a protobuf schema registry, all on my GitHub.
